EVENT PRODUCTION

Toronto Real Estate Investment Expo 2024

This event was designed to bring together Cantonese speakers in Toronto, offering them insights into real estate investment. I used the organizer's branding, MBT Group, incorporating a sharp and clear blue as the primary theme color to evoke a sense of stability and forward-looking vision. As the sole designer, I was responsible for every aspect of the event's visual identity, including branding, print materials, digital assets, event collateral, stage design, and presentation graphics. My work ensured a cohesive and professional aesthetic that aligned with the event’s objectives. professional expertise while appealing to today’s buyers.

Grainy Surface

The tight timeline and constantly changing details were the biggest challenges for this event. With only three weeks to design, produce, and print all materials, staying on schedule was critical. However, frequent updates from the organizer required quick revisions and adjustments, demanding flexibility and efficiency to ensure everything was completed on time without compromising quality.

Analysis

Blue Skies

I maintained strict schedule management throughout the project, reserving time for revisions and printing to allow for greater flexibility. Anticipating potential delays, I ensured we stayed on track despite the challenges. I also actively communicated with decision-makers, offering solutions to streamline the process—such as suggesting digital coupons instead of printed coupon books when the vendor list remained unconfirmed in the final week. This proactive approach helped keep the event on schedule while adapting to last-minute changes.

Solution

Packed Audience

The expo was a success, with everything running smoothly despite a few challenges. While not everything was perfect, all aspects were well-managed and under control. The event exceeded expectations in scale, attracting more vendors than initially planned. Though the venue was modest, the stage design and overall atmosphere conveyed a sense of class, impressing even the politicians and distinguished guests in attendance. Feedback from attendees was positive, highlighting the informative nature of the expo and the clarity of the keynote presentations.
